Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks an MRI Technologist to support a busy imaging department. The role involves operating MRI services, mentoring staff, coordinating student activities, and ensuring high-quality diagnostic images for physicians.

Requires MRI license and advanced MRI certification; 3–5 years of MRI experience and leadership exposure preferred. Onsite work at 4 Centennial Drive with a 40-hour day shift and a $20,000 sign-on for external candidates.

Qualifications

• Associate's in Diagnostic Imaging or Bachelor's in Health Sciences required/preferred.
• MRI license required; Advanced MRI Certification preferred.
• 3–5 years MRI tech experience; leadership 0–1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Job Summary THis position will work in both Peabody and at Salem Hospital. Full time Days! New rates! $20,000 Sign On bonus to qualified external candidates. Summary Assists the manager with operational oversight, improvement of clinical operations, and staff supervision. Functions include training, mentoring, and evaluating clinical staff, overseeing coordination of clinical activities for students, coordination of patient care and flow, telephone triage, medical information management, and clinical support for the physician. Also performs the duties of a clinical staff member and serves as a role model and resource person for staff in the department. This position acts as a liaison between the clinical staff, managers, and physicians. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes

Essential Functions

• -Assist management with operational oversight, quality improvement, operational flow, performance measurement, and implementation of new practices
• -Assist in providing guidance to staff, staff scheduling, triage duties, and is a resource to staff
• -Oversees the coordination of clinical activities for students to ensure they are meeting core curriculum requirements
• -Assures high quality images are submitted by technologists to ensure optimal diagnostic information is available to physicians for accurate and complete patient diagnosis
• -Demonstrates positive customer service focus by delivering exemplary personal patient contact while executing radiology clinical duties
• -Acts as a liaison between clinical staff, managers, and physicians
• -Provides quality all levels of MRI diagnostic procedures

Qualifications

Education Associate's Degree Diagnostic Imaging required or Bachelor's Degree Health Sciences preferred Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No

Experience
