Qualifications

• Education: Associates degree in Radiologic Sciences with ARRT MRI certification.
• Licensure: ARRT credentials for Diagnostic Imaging and NYS license; enhanced NYS license for injection required by completion of introductory period.
• Experience: Two years experience preferred, new graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Completes all MRI exam steps including patient history, tech and contrast information, and IV injection documentation.
• Follow MRI safety policies for staff and patients.
• Label syringes with date/time/contrast/initials; adhere to ISTAT protocol per sites.
• Set acquisition factors for optimal image quality and evaluate images as instructed by physicians.
• Monitor stock levels and enter stock/pantry orders in the system.
