Job summary

A leading healthcare provider seeks an MRI Technologist who will utilize independent judgment to perform high-quality MRI procedures. Qualifications

Overview

Schedule

Full-Time, Day Shift

7:30am-4:00pm

Weekends as needed

$20,000 Sign-on Bonus!

Qualifications

Education:

Previous physics coursework preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registry:

ARRT registered in either Radiography or Magnetic Resonance Imaging or registry eligible required.

Maintain CPR Certification

Experience:

Three (3) years of experience as a technologist with documented skill advancement in the workplace is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of MRI procedures on all ages of patients, according to established standards, policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines.
  • Maintain excellent guest relations with patients, visitors, physicians, and fellow employees.
  • Maintain skills in performing emergency and routine patient care as required.
  • Administer agents/pharmaceuticals under the supervision of the Radiologist.

  • Participate in continuing education, meeting requirements for all mandatory in-services, and maintain knowledge of current trends and developments in MRI.
  • Promote health and safety in the work environment.
  • Actively participate in the competency assessment process.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
