Job summary

Qualified candidates have ARRT licensure, a high school diploma or GED, ARRT program graduation, and ideally MR certification. Responsibilities include documentation, safety compliance, and patient education as part of imaging care.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT licensure.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an accredited ARRT program.
• Preferred MR certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment according to specifications for low, high and open magnets.
• Produce quality images within department standards (3D formatting, reconstruction, MRA).
• Follow MRI safety practices according to state and federal guidelines.
• Maintain patient records per department standards.
• Knowledge of contrast media use and documentation; assess patients prior to exams.
