ICON Consultants, LP is seeking a qualified Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist I for a permanent, full-time opportunity in Galveston, TX. The role involves performing routine MRI and MRA procedures, assisting physicians, and ensuring patient safety. Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience, completion of an accredited MRI training program, and must be MRI certified or registry-eligible.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Must be MRI certified or MRI registry-eligible at the time of hire.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine MRI and MRA procedures independently.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and special procedures.
• Adjust and optimize protocols to enhance image quality.
• Perform weekly imaging equipment quality control checks.
• Observe and address patient reactions or changes in condition.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient procedures.
