An established industry player is seeking an MRI Technologist to join their team in a PRN capacity, primarily working Saturdays. Qualifications

Position Overview

This PRN position primarily involves Saturdays, with some weekday shifts as needed.

Job Summary

The MRI Technologist works under general supervision to perform diagnostic MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging. Effective communication with patients, radiologists, and staff is essential.

Responsibilities
  1. Pre-screen patients for contraindications and ensure safety protocols.
  2. Produce diagnostic-quality MRI images.
  3. Maintain workspace cleanliness and order.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients and staff.
  5. Train new staff members as needed.
Qualifications
  • Graduation from a Certified Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current ARRT(R), ARRT(MR), or ARMRIT certification.
  • Current BLS certification.
Physical and Personal Characteristics
  • Ability to stand/walk for long hours and assist patients physically.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, confidentiality, and infection control knowledge.
  • Use of medical terminology and service orientation.
