Job summary

University of Rochester seeks an MRI Technologist for a part-time role at the Miracle Mile imaging site in Rochester, NY. You will operate MRI equipment, ensure patient safety, and maintain imaging quality while supporting training and workflow. This position requires NYS CRT licensure and ARRT certification.

Responsibilities include image production, documentation, and collaboration with staff to uphold MRI safety standards and patient care quality.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Equivalency between education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and utilizes MRI equipment including imaging coils, patient monitoring systems, and related articles.
• Evaluates image quality and troubleshoot scanner or coil problems.
• Assists in training new MRI technologists and students.
• Performs filming, archiving and PACS data management for each patient scanned.
