MRI Technologist - Imaging Part Time Evenings with $2500 Sign-on Bonus

Job Details

• This is a part-time position at 20 hours per week at Lake Forest Hospital.
• Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with holiday rotation.

Responsibilities

• Administer gadolinium contrast intravenously, screening for allergies and contraindications.
• Position patients, follow exam protocols, review physician's orders, and consult with radiologists.
• Enter data into computer systems accurately.
• Communicate with patients regarding procedures, risks, and expectations.
• Adjust MRI scan sequences and parameters appropriately.
• Ensure safety by screening for ferromagnetic objects and reviewing contraindications.
• Maintain and clean equipment and work area.
• Adhere to MRI safety guidelines and organizational policies.
• Ensure accurate documentation and billing.
• Report equipment issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Required: ARRT or ARMRIT certification, 2-3 years of education or equivalent, 1-3 years of related experience, BLS certification.
• Preferred: ARRT (MR) certification.
