Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Imaging Technologist to operate imaging equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images under radiologist direction. You will apply knowledge of anatomy, radiation safety, patient care, and EMR systems to support patient diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities include updating medical records, entering physician orders, explaining procedures to patients, and maintaining strict safety standards. Full-time, 36 hours weekly with rotating call at St James Hospital.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or diploma from a two-year college or technical school.
• Current ARRT certification and Montana licensure or eligibility.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to read and interpret scientific journals.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Access and update patient medical records in EMR systems.
• Input physician orders into patient records.
• Explain imaging procedures and safety to patients.
• Position patients for imaging and monitor during procedures.
• Maintain radiation and magnetic field safety to minimize exposure.
• Support quality assurance and department efficiency.
