Qualifications

  • Current ARRT certification.
  • State of Oregon licensure in required modalities.
  • CPR/AED certification.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Computer skills and typing accuracy.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Performs MRI procedures at a professional level with minimal supervision.
  • Establish IVs and administer IV/contrast media as prescribed.
  • Prioritize patient care and safety in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure image quality before patient leaves the department.
  • Maintain Universal Precautions and MRI safety standards.
  • Review implants for scanning safety and clearance.
  • Operate on Closed Bore and Open MRI at both sites.
