A leading healthcare organization is seeking an MRI Technologist II - Per Diem to operate MRI equipment and provide high-quality imaging services at Edward Hospital in Naperville. The role requires ARRT(R) certification, previous MRI experience, and strong interpersonal skills to ensure patient comfort and trust. This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate and a sign-on bonus, along with various benefits for eligible employees.
Hourly Pay Range:
$35.35 - $54.79 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position Highlights:
What you will do:
Operate MRI equipment to obtain images for use by physicians in diagnosis and treatment, following Radiologist's directions and established procedures. Position patients, administer contrast media injections, and manipulate images to ensure high-quality exams. Provide excellent customer service by maintaining eye contact, facial and body expressions, and tone of voice. Explain procedures to patients, addressing questions to reduce anxiety and build trust.
