Qualifications

  • ARRT(R) or ARMRIT certified or in the process of obtaining certification.
  • Current CPR (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Previous MRI experience required.

Job description

Hourly Pay Range:

$35.35 - $54.79 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • Sign on bonus: $1,000
  • Position: MRI Technologist II - Per Diem
  • Location: Edward Hospital, Naperville, IL
  • Employment Type: Per Diem/PRN
  • Hours: As needed

What you will do:

Operate MRI equipment to obtain images for use by physicians in diagnosis and treatment, following Radiologist's directions and established procedures. Position patients, administer contrast media injections, and manipulate images to ensure high-quality exams. Provide excellent customer service by maintaining eye contact, facial and body expressions, and tone of voice. Explain procedures to patients, addressing questions to reduce anxiety and build trust.

What you will need:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associate's Degree or higher preferred
  • Candidate must be ARRT(R) or ARMRIT certified or in the process of obtaining certification
  • Current CPR (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Previous MRI experience required
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot software-related problems
  • Advanced techniques including cardiac and functional neuro protocols are preferred
