Job summary

The University of Vermont Health Network seeks an MRI Technologist II to perform evening shift MRI exams in a fast-paced academic medical setting. You will operate MRI scanners, screen and prepare patients, start IVs for contrast as needed, and ensure comfort and safety throughout exams.

Qualifications

• Certification as an MRI technologist (ARRT or equivalent) is required.
• Experience performing MRI exams in a clinical setting is preferred.
• Strong patient communication and safety practices are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations during the evening shift following established protocols.
• Operate MRI equipment and ensure image quality.
• Screen patients, start IVs for contrast as needed, and monitor safety.
• Document procedures and results in the EHR.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and the care team to ensure patient-centered imaging.
