Ideal candidates hold ARRT MRI certification, Florida licensure in Radiography/Nuclear Medicine/Ultrasound, and have 3+ years of continuous MRI experience. CPR certification and strong communication are essential, with teamwork a key expectation.

Qualifications

• ARRT MRI certification is required and competency in the specialty must be demonstrated.
• Minimum 3 years of continuous MRI experience with no more than 1 year break in the last 4 years.
• Florida licensure in Radiography, Nuclear Medicine or Ultrasound is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the MRI scanner to obtain diagnostic images.
• Design efficient protocols with radiologist aid to optimize exams.
• Perform quality control and report scanner malfunctions.
• Follow universal safety precautions and proper lifting techniques.
• Collaborate with physicians, staff and radiologists to aid diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintain the ability to perform any of the listed specialty exams as needed.
