Job description

Hourly Pay Range:

$35.35 - $54.79 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • SIGN-ON BONUS: $5,000
  • Position: MRI Technologist II
  • Location: 24600 W 127th Street, Plainfield, IL
  • Part-Time, 20 hours weekly
  • Hours: Every other Saturday and Sunday 1400 - 2230 at Plainfield + 3 weekday PM shifts at Edward Hospital

What you will do:

Operate MRI equipment to obtain images for use by physicians in diagnosis and treatment, following Radiologist's directions and established procedures. Position patients, administer injections of contrast media, and manipulate images to ensure high-quality exams. Provide excellent customer service, being attentive to eye contact, facial and body expressions, and tone of voice. Explain procedures to patients, answer questions, and help reduce anxiety to promote trust.

What you will need:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associate's Degree or higher preferred

Certifications:

  • Candidate for ARRT(R) or ARMRIT certification at minimum
  • Current CPR (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Experience:

  • Previous MRI experience required
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot software-related problems
  • Advanced techniques including cardiac and functional neuro protocols preferred
