Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
• 0-2 years of clinical experience as a registered MRI Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Reviews MRI patient questionnaires and histories to identify contraindications.
• Operates MRI and processing equipment safely and proficiently.
• Educates and prepares patients for MRI exams.
• Maintains MRI safety zones and verifies readiness before entering scan areas.
• Documents clinical history with exam findings for radiologist review.
• Maintains inventory of MRI supplies and equipment.
