Job summary

Atrium Health Floyd in Rome, Georgia is seeking an MRI Technologist I to perform MRI procedures, maintain equipment safety, and provide excellent patient care. Responsibilities include explaining procedures to patients, operating MRI scanners, and evaluating medical images.

The ideal candidate will have graduated from an accredited Radiologic program and obtained MRI registry within a year of hiring. The role is essential for ensuring high-quality imaging during patient procedures.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in MRI ARRT registry eligible or ARMRIT program required.
• MRI registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire. BLS required.
• Demonstrates knowledge of patient population needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures in accordance with departmental protocols.
• Assist patients and explain procedures.
• Evaluate technical quality of images.
