Job summary

ChristianaCare is hiring a Full-Time CT Scan Technologist I at the Springside location. The role requires MR technologist experience, ARRT certification, and MRI certification within 2 years. You will perform MRI procedures, ensure safety screenings, and maintain compliance with regulations while coordinating patient care and documenting studies in the system.

All applicants should have strong customer service skills, be flexible with hours, and ready to work at alternate locations as needed.

Qualifications

• MR Technologist experience required.
• ARRT Registered Technologist required.
• ARRT Advanced MRI Certification required within 2 years of hire.
• Cerner training required.
• Excellent customer service/telephone skills required.
• Flexibility in hours is required.
• Flexibility to work at alternate locations as needed.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI units and related radiology systems.
• Performs MRI procedures and quality control per protocols.
• Conducts MRI safety screenings and handles patient consents.
• Ensures compliance with regulations (ACR, Joint Commission).
• Documents patient study information accurately in care systems.
• Assists with workflow coordination and patient care activities.
• Verifies insurance pre-authorization prior to scanning.
