Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Allen MRI department is seeking a certified MRI Technologist for a full-time day shift. You will help optimize imaging workflows and deliver high-quality imaging studies for a busy patient population.

Required are NYS Radiology licensure, ARRT MRI and Radiology, graduation from an accredited radiology program, and BLS. GE technology experience and ongoing ARRT CE credits are a plus. Competitive pay and a sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology program.
• New York State License in Radiology.
• New York State certification for intravascular media injection or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• ARRT in Radiology and MRI - ARRT (R)(MR) or eligible and obtain within six months of hire or transfer.
• Maintains continuing education credits per ARRT requirements.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficient in EMR, RIS, HIS, PACS, and modality software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with MRI imaging according to department protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow.
• Ensure high-quality imaging and patient safety.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and credentialing requirements.
