Qualifications

We currently have variable schedules available for our Full time Evening/Night MRI Technologist position:

  • Monday through Friday, 5:30pm - 12 am, No weekends
  • OR
  • Monday through Thursday, 6:30pm-2am, 1 Saturday a month

Position Summary:

Under general supervision of the Manager of MRI and under the direction of a Radiologist, performs diagnostic MRI/MRA on pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in designated areas of the body as requested by a physician.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Utilizes all technical skills and training to ensure the safe and accurate operation of the MRI scanner, including screening all patients and visitors
  • Evaluates MRI scans for technical quality with minimal supervision, using independent judgment and initiative
  • Maintains professionalism in conduct, appearance, communication, and teamwork; participates in continuous quality improvement
  • Participates in hospital-wide compliance assessments
  • Will be required to take call and rotate between MRI sites
  • Performs other related duties as required

Organizational Requirements:

  • Maintain confidentiality according to Beverly Hospital policies
  • Incorporate Beverly Hospital Standards of Behavior and Guiding Principles into daily activities
  • Comply with all hospital policies and behavioral expectations
  • Maintain courteous and effective interactions with colleagues and patients
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and mandatory education
  • Ensure proper hand hygiene and equipment cleaning as per policies

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Radiologic Technology, adhering to ARRT standards
  • Licensure, Certification & Registration: ARRT or Bachelor of Science Degree in Advanced Level Certification in MRI, BLS
  • Experience: MRI experience preferred; excellent communication skills required; ability to work independently and in a team; basic computer skills; knowledge of venipuncture
