Performs a wide variety of technical and professional duties utilizing complex imaging equipment to produce quality MR images as requested for subsequent interpretation by the radiologist. All duties are performed according to departmental and organizational policies and procedures. Promotes service excellence in all interactions as outlined in the Key Behaviors in the YNHH Core Success Factors. Staff may be occasionally assigned to any of the GH diagnostic radiology locations regardless of regular work location. This job description and requirements have been approved by the medical chairman of the diagnostic imaging department and the medical staff executive committee.

Qualifications
Education
Associates Degree in Radiology preferred. ARRT, MRI advanced registry required unless trainee, with 6 months from start date to obtain.
Experience
Minimum one (1) year experience in MRI unless trainee.
Licensure
ARRT and MRI advanced registry required unless trainee, with 6 months from start date to obtain. CT State Radiography licenses required.
Special Skills
Able to safely enter a magnetic field; proficient in all procedures and exams in a hospital radiology setting, including Synapse technology. Six months trial period.
Physical Demand
May be exposed to infectious or hazardous materials. Standing and walking most of the day, lifting, pushing, pulling medium-weight equipment, manual dexterity, and assisting with patient lifting as needed.
