Job summary

CARIN Alliance is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI and MRA procedures, interpret physicians' instructions, and produce diagnostic images. You will prepare patients, operate scanners, transmit images to PACS, and ensure accuracy in billing and documentation.

Requirements include ARRT MRI certification and state licensure, plus BLS and MRI department experience. You will support department operations, participate in safety meetings, and help maintain accreditation standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

Role: MRI Technologist responsible for performing MRI and MRA procedures, interpreting physicians' instructions, and creating diagnostic images in compliance with regulations.

  • Responsibilities: Prepare and position patients, operate MRI scanners, transmit images to PACS, perform quality assurance to maintain accreditation, manage inventory, troubleshoot equipment, enter orders, verify billing accuracy, and assist with patient transport and documentation.
  • Attend departmental meetings and maintain compliance with safety and operational standards.

Qualifications & Skills: Current ARRT certification in Radiography or MRI, MRI advanced certification, state licensure, BLS certification, hospital MRI/MRA experience, ability to perform quality assurance, transmit images, troubleshoot equipment, and communicate effectively with staff and patients.

Key Duties: Accurate procedure execution, maintaining equipment, ensuring image quality, documentation, inventory management, and supporting departmental operations.
