Schedule: Full-Time

Shift: Nights - Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7pm-7:30am

The role you’ll contribute:

Under general supervision, your primary duties include performing neuro and body scans on patients ranging from neonate to geriatric, following age-specific guidelines, transmitting images for diagnostic interpretation, and updating the hospital computer system with exam progress. You will actively participate in providing outstanding customer service, maintaining respectful relationships, and implementing the principles of the facility.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

  • Perform all exams using established protocols, ensuring proper patient identification, educating patients about the exam, and screening for contrast allergies.
  • Complete exams efficiently, keep workflow steady, and minimize empty table time. Coordinate post-exam communication, transportation, and discharge for outpatients.
  • Operate all imaging equipment safely and correctly, including scanners, injectors, monitors, and other medical devices. Adapt protocols for patients of all ages as needed.
  • Review all images, repeat scans if necessary for quality, and notify physicians of emergent findings per protocol.
  • Enforce MRI zone entrance and fire safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or technical degree in a related field
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
