A leading company in healthcare is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform imaging for patients of all ages. The role involves ensuring quality images for diagnostics and optimizing patient care and flow. Candidates must have completed an accredited Radiology Technology program and possess relevant certifications.
SUMMARY
Under the direction of the radiologist, the MRI technologist performs total body imaging for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients in various body planes, resulting in the production of quality images for diagnostic interpretation. The technologist effectively utilizes all imaging capabilities of the MRI scanner. They are responsible for maintaining an optimal level of patient care and assisting in the optimization of patient flow and study throughput.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Successful completion of a two-year Radiology Technology program approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA, and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
- Must have at least two years of successful experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- Must possess the ability to understand and apply the scientific principles related to magnetic resonance technology.
