Loan Repayment Assistance Program up to $20,000 Lifetime: The Imaging Loan Repayment Assistance Program provides financial support to our Mercy Imaging co-workers in a hospital-based eligible position working 32 hours or more per pay period (at least 0.4 FTE). The program offers monthly payments directly to the loan servicer up to $370 per month and a lifetime maximum of $20,000.

Overview:

Performs specialized MRI procedures on patients, producing diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation. Provides patient care essential to these procedures, applies MR safety principles, and performs duties consistent with our mission, values, and standards.

Qualifications:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic or MRI Technologist Program with clinical hours completed.
  • Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience or a Bachelor’s degree graduate.
  • Licensure/Certifications: ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT 1 Advanced registry (MRI); BLS certification.
  • Skills & Knowledge: IV insertion, technical skills in medical scanning, understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, 3-D imaging.
  • Working Conditions: Ability to manipulate equipment, lift and transport patients, stand or walk for extended periods, and adapt to stressful situations. Equipment used includes MRI scanners, power injectors, workstations, and computers.
  • Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree.
