Temple University Health System is seeking a full-time MRI Technologist for TUH-Jeanes Campus in Philadelphia. This role involves performing MRI studies, operating the MRI machine, and ensuring optimal patient care throughout the scanning process. The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma, relevant certifications, and a commitment to patient communication.

MRI TECHNOLOGIST (FT; 40hrs/wk) - Temple Health/Jeanes Hospital - ( 252798 )
Performs MRI studies following set protocol established by the Radiologists. Operates the MRI scanner to produce images of consistent optimal quality. Prepares scan room and equipment as appropriate. Positions patient, coils and equipment as required. Maintains communication with the patient throughout the scanning procedure. American Registry of Radiologists (ARRT) MR certification required within 2 years from date of hire.
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Non Degree Program : from a approved AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program. (Required)
Experience
1 Year experience as a Radiology Technologist (Required)
1 Year experience in CT or MRI (Preferred)
License/Certifications
RT(R) - Reg Technologist (R) (Required)
RT(MR) - Reg Technologist (MR) (Required)
BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
