Job summary

Premier Radiology in Tennessee partners with Radiology Partners to provide top-tier outpatient imaging services. The MRI team maintains strict protocols, performs quality checks, and ensures a safe MR environment for patients and staff.

The role involves performing IV injections for contrast, selecting appropriate protocols, and executing accurate post-processing of MRI scans to support accurate diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA-approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT or ARMRIT certification.
• Current BLS.
• Proficiency in intravenous injections.
• Ability to interact professionally with clinical staff and patients.

Responsibilities

• Maintain MRI protocols as directed by the MRI Coordinator/Lead.
• Perform daily quality control on MRI scanners per ACR and state requirements.
• Maintain a safe MR environment by proper screening of individuals entering the MRI suite.
• Perform IV injections for contrast when needed following OSHA guidelines.
• Demonstrate competency in all MRI examinations and proper patient positioning and post-processing.
