Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Current Basic Life Support/Cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification is required.
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging board certified, required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate MRI unit using proper radiation protection.
• Position patients for appropriate radiographic exposures.
• Participate in quality control and assurance studies.

Skills

Typing speed 30-40 wpm

1-4 years experience in a high-volume clinic or hospital

Fluency in medical terminology

Strong customer service skills

Ability to understand complex instructions

Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines

Education

High School diploma or GED

Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)

Magnetic Resonance Imaging board certified

Current Basic Life Support certification
