Job summary

The Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) seeks a dedicated MRI Technologist for MUSC on a PRN basis. You will perform high-quality MRI examinations using 3T/scanners, ensure patient comfort, and collaborate with radiology staff to deliver diagnostic imaging with strict safety standards.

Required education includes graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program; ARRT and ARMRIT registrations, plus BLS.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
0 to 2 years of modality specific work experience, at least 1 year of X-Ray experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality MRI examinations on patients across all age groups, including neonates to geriatrics.
Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
Utilize MRI resources, protocols, and technology to ensure accurate imaging services.
Prepare, position, and educate patients regarding MRI procedures.
Adhere to safety standards, infection control, and MRI protocols.
Monitor patients during examinations and respond to needs.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses and staff to provide care.
Ensure care, maintenance and quality control of MRI equipment and work areas.
Perform additional duties to support department operations.
