Job summary

WellStar is seeking an MRI Technologist to independently perform a variety of MRI procedures, ensure safety, and deliver high-quality imaging. You will prepare patients, verify orders, and maintain equipment while coordinating with radiologists and healthcare teams to optimize diagnostic care.

Ideal candidates will have an accredited Radiologic Technology program, MRI certification, and at least 1 year of MRI experience, with strong communication and patient service skills in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completed.
• MRI certification (ARRT-MR or ARMRIT) required upon hire.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical MRI setting.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for MRI exams.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort; follow pre-/post-procedure care.
• Review orders, obtain necessary clinical information, and verify patient identity.
• Operate MRI equipment and related software; maintain cleanliness and infection control.
• Assist other technologists and respond to emergencies as needed.
