Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Magnetic Resonance Imaging preferred with a minimum of 2 years.
• Must be ARRT registered and in good standing
• CPR certification / BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Review MRI screening questionnaires with patients and explain what to expect during the scan.
• Input patient information into the MRI scanner with accuracy.
• Position patients and protect dignity during imaging procedures.
• Follow MRI safety protocols and dose MRI contrast per guidelines.
• Send images to PACS with brief clinical history for radiologist review.
• Assist patients after imaging and provide results guidance to ordering providers.
