Job summary

Allina Health's WestHealth Imaging unit seeks an MRI Technologist to perform examinations under radiologist supervision, delivering high-quality patient care. The role emphasizes safety, documentation accuracy, and effective communication with patients and team.

The position requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT MRI certification, and BLS. The team values collaboration and supports professional growth within Minnesota’s imaging services.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology (Vocational/Technical).
• ARRT MRI certification required; ARRT MRI preferred upon hire.
• Current BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross, or in-house BLS training within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures under radiologist direction with quality care.
• Identify patient with two identifiers and document procedure details accurately.
• Maintain patient safety and communicate clearly with the patient throughout the exam.
• Ensure imaging data is transferred to the imaging storage system and EMR.
• Collaborate with supervisor and imaging team to support workflow.
