Job summary

Allina Health's AHG Apple Valley Medical Center is seeking a part-time MRI Technologist for a casual 0.0 FTE role in Apple Valley, MN. You will perform MRI procedures under radiologist supervision, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and quality imaging.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation, patient identification, and data transfer to PACS. Requirements include ARRT registration, MRI certification preferred, accredited Radiologic Technology program completion, and current BLS

Qualifications

• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) is required.
• MRI certification with ARRT preferred upon hire.
• Vocational/technical training in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/Red Cross or in-house).

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures under radiologist direction with accuracy.
• Identifies patient with two identifiers and documents the procedure.
• Maintains patient safety and comfort throughout the scan.
• Ensures imaging data transfers to the storage/PACS system and completes post-procedure documentation.
• Communicates with supervisor and team to support workflow.
