Job summary

Envision Imaging in Sunnyvale, TX is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures with patient preparation, safety adherence, and image submission to Radiologists for interpretation.

The role requires 2+ years MRI experience, ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification, and CPR. You will work in a controlled outpatient setting with opportunities for professional growth within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Two plus years' experience in MRI preferred.
• Ability to educate patients on procedures.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player.
• Ability to excel in a very fast-pace team environment.
• Ability to continuously "exceed" company and customer expectation.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with patient to ascertain medical history and provide procedure instructions.
• Reviews patient charts for missed information and consent; screens for implants/contraindications.
• Obtains prior films and performs high-quality scans for radiologist interpretation.
• Notifies team if patient condition changes during the exam.
• Transfers images to other locations as needed.
• Coordinates scan protocols with Radiologist.
• Maintains and inspects equipment; reports issues.
• Interacts with Lead Technologist and Center/Area Manager on departmental concerns.
• Other duties as assigned.
