Job summary

RAYUS Radiology in Florida is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team on a part-time basis, Tue-Fri 2:30 PM–11:00 PM. You will operate MR scanners to produce diagnostic images with patient-centered care and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, performing routine and advanced MRI procedures, adjusting scan parameters, and maintaining accurate records. ARRT/ARMRIT certification and CPR are required, with state licensure as applicable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiography.
• ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the state, if applicable.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must have training and experience to competently perform MRI procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty.

Responsibilities

• Screens patient before exam and identify patient and procedure using two identifiers.
• Explain and prepare patients for MRI, position for proper imaging.
• Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision, guiding patients through the process.
• Adjust MRI scan parameters as needed and follow physicians' orders.
• Maintain RIS records, follow safety regulations, and keep equipment clean and disinfected.
• Maintain an orderly imaging suite and ensure equipment remains in good working order.
• Support imaging protocol manual updates, monitor supplies, and assist in training new team members.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.
