Job summary

RAYUS Radiology in Florida is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners and provide patient-centered imaging services. This full-time role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and compassionate patient care within a busy radiology department.

The position runs Monday through Friday, 2:00pm-10:30pm. Requirements include AMA approved radiography program, ARRT/ARMRIT registration, CPR, and state licensure where applicable; experience with RIS is a plus, and ongoing professional development is

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved radiography program.
• ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must have sufficient training and experience to competently perform MRI procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty.

Responsibilities

• Screens patient before exam using two identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
• Explains and prepares patients for MRI procedures and positions patients for scanning.
• Performs routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision.
• Adjusts MRI scan parameters as needed.
• Follows physicians' orders, adheres to safety regulations, maintains RIS records.
• Maintains an orderly and clean work area and sanitizes equipment.
• Maintains equipment in good working order and disinfects after use.
• Maintains ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements.
• Supports MRI department with protocol manuals and software upgrades.
• Monitors medical supply inventory and requests supplies.
• Assists in training new team members.
