Job summary

AdventHealth in Georgia seeks an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI exams per physician orders and department protocols, ensuring image quality and patient safety.

You will screen patients for MRI safety, educate patients about procedures and contrast use, administer IV contrast, and document in EMR/PACS. Must have BLS and MR certifications, with ARRT/MR credentials and ARMRIT as applicable.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak conversational English.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and MRI licenses/certifications required.
• Experience with MRI scanners and safety protocols preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations per physician orders and protocols.
• Review patient history and screen for MRI safety and contraindications.
• Educate patients and families about MRI procedures and safety.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Document accurately in EMR and PACS.
