Salary: $36.81 - $57.35
Full-Time, Evenings. 40 hours a week.
Range includes evening differential.

We’re expanding our MRI services at Erie Medical Center to include evenings and weekends, offering greater access to care for our Boulder and Weld County communities. With this new addition, we’re making healthcare more convenient and accessible than ever before!

Boulder Community Health is seeking an MRI Technologist. This position plays a pivotal role in healthcare by conducting MRI procedures with utmost precision, consistently delivering top-notch examinations. This critical role involves utilizing advanced imaging technology to aid in diagnosis and treatment, contributing significantly to patient care. Our ideal candidate makes patients feel comfortable before and during the scanning procedure and coordinates with the patient's physician to ensure the results are received in a timely manner.

Qualifications:
  • Registered Technologist (ARRT) for Radiology Technology
  • Completion of MRI training (structured or on the job)
  • BLS certification by end of conditional period
  • Active Registered Technologist (AART) for MRI, or MRI registered within:
    • Two years from hire/transfer date for trainees
    • 18 months from hire/transfer date for registry-eligible staff
  • Must be able to arrive at Foothills hospital within 30 mins during call shifts. Willing to rotate through sites including Erie Clinic and Foothills hospital. Call required on a rotating basis.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, position, and transfer patients as needed
  • Perform scans with proper technical factors
  • Photograph and hang scans as necessary
  • Perform injection of contrast
  • Schedule patients
  • Work on call as scheduled and as needed
  • Participate in quality assurance studies
  • Perform daily quality assurance and maintain equipment upkeep
