MRI Tech in New York, NY is seeking an entry-level MRI Technologist. Responsibilities include screening patients, preparing them for examinations, and performing MRI procedures across multiple body areas. The role requires NY licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, ARRT MR registration, and BLS certification.

Prior radiology experience is preferred. Shift is Mon-Fri, 8-5, with no call. Ideal candidates will be knowledgeable in MRI equipment and protocols.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• New York State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist with contrast certification.
• ARRT registration is required.
• MR technologist MR/ARRT certification due within 18 months of entry.
• BLS/BCLS certification required.
• Prior radiology experience, MRI preferred.

Mansioni

• Screen patients prior to MRI procedure.
• Prepare patients for examination.
• Perform MRI procedures including abdominal, thoracic, neuro, extremities, and related planning tasks.
• Administer IV and oral contrast per Radiologist orders.
