Job summary

Shared Medical Services seeks an MRI Technologist to operate on a state-of-the-art mobile scanner, serving local communities as part of a stable, employee-owned team. The role emphasizes dedicated patient care and high-quality imaging in a dynamic, mobile environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) or ARMRIT registered.
• ARRT (MR) registered preferred.
• Ability to produce quality imaging with limited supervision and interact professionally.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures in accordance with accepted standards, including administering contrast agents under Radiologist guidance.
• Review and complete patient screening forms and properly explain the procedure to the patient.
• Maintain excellent patient care, comfort, safety and confidentiality, and keep technical competency through continuing education.
