Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology is required.
• NY State licensure as a CRT upon hire is required.
• ARRT Radiography Certification with CE credits upon hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate MRI equipment, including coils and patient monitoring.
• Evaluate image quality and troubleshoot scanner or coil problems.
• Train new MRI technologists and students as directed.
• Perform filming, archiving and PACS data management for each patient scanned.
• Provide safe, efficient patient care and post-MRI instructions.
