Job summary

Appling Healthcare in Baxley, GA seeks an MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners and produce diagnostic images under the Radiology Manager's supervision. This is a full-time position Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field, is RT(R) registered, and has MRI and BLS certification (BLS required within 90 days). Previous radiology experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Clinical Radiation Science, or related field.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist RT(R).
• MRI certification.
• Current BLS certification (Must obtain within 90 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners to acquire diagnostic images.
• Work under the supervision of the Radiology Manager.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
