Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures across all age groups. You will ensure high-quality images, participate in continuous quality improvement, and guarantee patient satisfaction and appropriate care for every patient.

Required ARRT MRI and ARMRIT certifications, plus BLS and Radiography credentials. Prior acute care experience is preferred and shift coverage is noted in the posting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; radiologic tech training completed.
• ARRT MRI certification required; ARMRIT MRI certification preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification required; ARRT Radiography certification also expected.

Description:

Provides a variety of MRI procedures on all age groups served by the entity. Safely ensures quality images. Participates in the department continuous quality improvement process. Ensures customer satisfaction and appropriateness of care for all assigned patients. Estimated pay range for this position is $39.13 - $50.87 / hour depending on experience.

Shift: Sundays 8A-4P

Initial Training will require 12-hours shifts twice a week.

Qualifications:

Degrees:

• High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.

Licenses & Certifications:

• ARRT Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
• ARMRIT MRI Technologist.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist.
• Basic Life Support.
• ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography.

Additional Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Radiologic Technology.
• Advanced ARRT Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging required - RT MR ARRT registered technologist or ARMIT certification.
• Six months experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Minimum Required Experience: 1 Year
