Job summary

Providence Centralia Hospital in WA is seeking an MRI technologist to perform MRI procedures, including setting up, scanning and filming, while communicating with radiologists, physicians, patients and families to ensure comfort and safety. The role requires Washington RT license with MR designation, ARRT MRI certification and BLS.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent in radiologic technology or MRI training required.
• Washington RT license with MR designation upon hire.
• National certification requirements: RT-MR or MRI technologist certification upon hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures (setting up, scanning and filming).
• Communicate with radiologists, physicians, patients and families.
• Perform quality control and reporting tasks.
• Maintain day-to-day schedules and assist radiologists.
• Handle medications within scope of license and start IVs.
• Take call.
