Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic in East Greenbush is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI per department standards under the Medical Imaging Chief. Responsibilities include history intake, exam prep, patient instruction, and protocol adherence.

Qualified candidates hold an AAS in Radiologic Technology, MRI experience, and current ARRT NY license. Pay ranges reflect experience, with strong growth opportunities in a Magnet Hospital setting.

Mansioni

• Obtains and records complete clinical history for examinations.
• Evaluates requests for appropriateness; consults radiologist as needed.
• Instructs patients on exam details and maintains communication.
• Follows scan protocols and radiologist's instructions.
• Uses equipment correctly and selects appropriate factors for imaging.
• Mentors students and new personnel in the department.
• Ensures proper positioning and patient comfort during imaging.
• Performs MRI safety screening and notes contraindications.
• Maintains magnetic field safety and MRI emergency procedures knowledge.
• Provides hearing protection and documents patient care and RIS entries.
• Reports incidents, safety concerns, and equipment issues promptly.
