Job summary

BayCare Bartow Medical Center seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic and invasive MRI procedures in a full-time clinical setting. You will be responsible for imaging patient care, RIS data management, and supporting related duties in the radiology department.

The role requires an Associate degree in Radiology, BLS and ARRT or ARMRIT MRI credentials within 1 year of hire, plus 1 year of MRI-specific training. Multimodal imaging support and patient transportation duties are included.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science degree in Radiology or related field.
• BLS and ARRT (Radiology Technologist) – Relevant Specialty or ARMRIT (MRI) within 1 year of hire or transfer into job.
• 1 year of MRI-specific training required; if holdings are in Radiology/Technical Radiology, 1 year of Radiology or MRI required.
• Experience with RIS data management and radiology workflow is expected.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and invasive MRI procedures.
• Responsible for imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation and related duties.
