Job summary

RAYUS Radiology in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners and provide patient-centered imaging services in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will have AMA-approved radiography education, ARRT/ARMRIT certification, CPR, and the ability to perform MRI procedures independently while maintaining RIS records and upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an AMA approved radiography program.
• ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist, current and in good standing
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state (if applicable)
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to perform MRI procedures independently
• Certification in imaging specialty

Responsibilities

• Operate designated MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images.
• Explain procedures to patients and position them for scans.
• Adjust scan parameters and ensure safety and accuracy.
• Maintain RIS records and comply with accreditation standards.
• Keep work area clean and equipment well maintained.
