Training for this position will prepare you for the role of MRI Technologist. The responsibilities of the MRI Technologist include, but are not limited to:
This full time, 40 hour per week position includes varying shift times Monday-Friday with rotating evenings & Saturdays. This position will provide coverage and receive training in the AMI offices in Galloway, Egg Harbor Township, Somers Point, Northfield, Hammonton, Cape May Court House, and Manahawkin.
Candidates for this position must be a current or upcoming graduate of AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology, Ultrasound or MRI program; registered or registry-eligible by ARDMS or the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). Current and valid American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support certification is required prior to start of employment.Must be willing to receive training and certification in venipuncture for the injection of contrast media via butterfly needle and IV catheter. In-house training will be provided. Must be willing to complete MRI Cross Training program in accordance with the Cross Training Agreement, and successfully achieve the ARRT MRI registry.
