MRI Technologist - (Casual/Per Diem) (Finance)

We invite you to join the Nemours Radiology team as an MRI Technologist.

Position Details:

  • Per Diem 0.2 FTE
  • Hours every other Saturday and Sunday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
  • Premium PRN rates with PRN commitment, including one holiday shift per year (minimum of 8 hours) or "on call"

Job Description:

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing Magnetic Resonance studies and providing quality healthcare services, including total patient care in a friendly, comfortable environment. Excellent communication skills are essential due to continuous interaction with the public and medical personnel. The role also involves participation in departmental and hospital programs for Quality Assessment and Improvement, identifying opportunities for service enhancement, and implementing appropriate actions aligned with Nemours' goals.

Requirements:

  • Must be ARRT, ARMRIT registered MRI technologist, or
  • ARRT registered/MRI board certified within 18 months of employment, or
  • Associate or Bachelor Degree in Allied Health with certification from ARDMS or NMTCB; MRI board certified within 18 months of employment, or
  • Recent graduates who have completed an MRI program with at least 6 months of supervised MRI clinical scanning experience. They must be registry eligible for ARRT, ARDMS, or NMTCB, and register within the first 90 days of employment. If their primary certification is not MRI, they must obtain MRI board certification within 18 months of employment.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Pediatric MRI experience preferred
