Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking an MRI Technologist for an In House Registry with rotating, part-time shifts. This position offers flexibility with minimum 2 shifts per month and requires MRI testing, patient screening, safety compliance, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered ARRT with MRI certification within one year of hire.
• CPR – Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI testing procedures.
• Interacts with patients as the first line interface during MRI testing.
• Maintains high quality MRI testing per department policies.
• Obtains accurate patient screening and consent.
• Follows patient safety policies and ensures a Safe MRI environment.
• Takes MRI call according to the schedule.
• Assists with staff training and orientation as requested.

ARRT MRI Certification within 1 year
