Qualifications

  • ARRT MRI certification or eligibility is required.
  • Experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical setting.
  • Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and patient care.

  • BLS certification is required.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality MRI scans following established protocols and physician orders.
  • Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Operate MRI equipment, troubleshoot minor issues, and monitor image quality.
  • Maintain accurate imaging and patient records per standards.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to deliver timely care.
  • Adhere to safety regulations, including shielding and MRI equipment rules.
  • Educate patients about imaging procedures and provide reassurance.
